Ted Williams 150 rib

one thing pistol I've always wanted is a 150 with the rib ,I managed to get a 150 sent over but getting the rib is a bit like finding hens teeth
with that in mind my only option is to make one, so I set about making a tester to work out the best way to go about it and the sequence of operations
not having a 9/16 ball cutter I made the tester to fit a 22xx barrel until I get the correct cutter and await getting the correct dimensions for the rib

That is a very pretty pistol. I never saw a 150 with a rib lime that. The breech appears to be an aftermarket item with grooves for an optical sight. However, given the rib and its front sight, it seems to cry out for a fancy Williams open sight.

it's not a 150 in the pic it was the first pistol I picked out to set the barrel rib on
the rib is purely a  trial piece to determine which order the milling operations need to be done

if the rib were extended back to the breech that would look good on a 22xx.

it will on a std 2240 with a steel breech -may need a few thou off the steel breech
