I have five of them in various states (as well as an 8mm). On one of them the metal appears new. Action was placed in a well used stock at some point. One has near exhibition grade walnut. Unfortunately it's beat up as bad as most of them are.Part of why they're heavy is because they have a lead weight in the forend and a steel bar in the buttstock.

Didn't know about the extra weights hidden inside. It makes for a gun that feels a lot like the 8mm.I don't run across them very often and have never seen one with a pristine stock in person.Gary
