Hey guys,
So the 1st part of my most recent order came in today and I made a mixup of the scope I was getting lol. I was trying to order a hawke airmax line of scope and ordered a hawke vantage instead.
Honestly it was my fault because I had both in my cart and removed the wrong one like goofball
.
But anyway to my question, I bought the scope for a beeman r9 in .22 cal. (Was originally a gift for my nephew but his parents said no so it's now my Christmas gift lol now I have 2 of them)
Anyway so I was told the vantage line is still airgun rated and are pretty good for the r9. And I may keep it if it will hold up. What do you all think is it a scope that will last a long time and hold zero or is it iffy? Would you all keep it?

I would. Hawke is real good about being solid scopes.
And you can still let your nephew have the combo. You just let him have it when he visits. A nice present.

I have a couple the same size, one of which started life on a Walther Talon Magnum .22...same rifle as the Hatsan 125 which are pretty well known scope killers. It was on there for a little over 600 shots before being swapped to a Hatsan Model 95 Vortex QE .22 which has around 400 and is still holding up very well.
Your mileage may vary but it should hold up just fine on your new R9

Nothing wrong with the Hawke Vantage 14141 scope!
Just bear in mind that the A/o ring is on the front bell housing and not a side turret. Side A/O is easier to use when changing shooting distances.
