Cometa Lynx MKII V-10

Last year I purchased a Cometa Lynx V-10. I really like the looks and feel of the gun itself, it is a head turner at the range with its bright blue wood stock. I am very pleased with the accuracy and shot count. I am shooting 22cal JSB 18.13 at around 850 to 890 FPS, I get about 90 shots before it falls off reg.
What I am truly disappointed in, is the trigger, first it is not the trigger pictured in the instruction manual. Second, the trigger is junk to put it as bluntly. I have had several occasions where pulling the trigger does nothing. I checked to make sure the gun is cocked and try again and still nothing. Than out of pure frustration I found if you depress the trigger completely, and then snap your finger off, it will discharge. I have not fiddled with it or adjusted it, so I know it is not something I did to make it nonfunctional.

        I know there were other Cometa Lynx MKII sold, and maybe someone is having similar issues. I have had some correspondents with Dana Webb and he was very helpful, but he did not have any of the issues that I have had.  I have only found one other thread on the rifle on GTA, it did mention that the trigger group was sub-standard, but the thread has since died. And unfortunately, the pictures have been removed. Are there other owners out there?
I guess my questions are, can the trigger be replaced? Is anyone else having similar problems? Has anyone replaced their trigger with a Marauder trigger group?
I look forward to any input and insight anyone can offer.
