Anyone have a tutorial on rebuilding a YH?

My YH Compressor is about a year old and I've noticed that it won't fill my 90ci tank past 4000 psi, where I used to be able to fill it to 4200 psi with no problems.  I suspect I need to rebuild the high compression part of the compressor.  Does anyone have a step by set tutorial or youtube video link that I can use while attempting this project?  Also, what parts are needed and do you have a good source for these parts?  TIA!

Most likely the upper high pressure seal rings. Some one posted how he changed them out by soaking them in hot water to help
them stretch over the piston. Might look that post up.

Thanks, Eumel, what should I use to clean them?  I have some of the common cleaners I use on my air guns, such as Brake Cleaner, Goo Gone and Alcohol, anything in particular that you suggest?

John, I have no idea, I don’t have an hour meter on it, it will be a year old in November. I have topped off my 90ci tank maybe 3 times from about 3000psi to 4200-4300psi, and fill air rifles maybe once or twice a week. When I say that, I may fill an air rifle 2-3 times during a shooting session.  So I who knows how may actual hours are on it. I have changed the oil once thus far and can still see the red dot in the oil window.  It’s the simple version and it’s 220V. I bought it through Walmart for under $200 and was given a full refund because it wasn’t as advertised. So, for a free compressor, I really have no complaints other than it seems to stop at 4000psi when filling the 90ci tank now.

last year, a member here had the same loss of output and found it to be
the disk valves as mentioned by Fly....hopefully thats it and then your back on your filling feet again.  we wish you great luck with your repairs.

I ordered a replacement piston for $20, but I think I’ll try and just clean the high end rings like Fly recommended and see if that helps. If it does I’ll save the piston for later.  If not I’ll have a replacement to use.
