Question for optimal side lever loading.

I recently purchased my first side lever diana 52 in the 22 cal .
I have been struggling to carry pellets and load a pellet .
I have arthritis and numbness is my hands and fingers .
I have two pella pens but the pellets will not load very well without hanging up on the edges of the taper in the barrel .
Do you guys some how smooth the sharp edges on the barrel or polish the machine marks ? I don't want to screw up my gun because of my lack of experience .
Is this just the wrong application for a pella pen ?
I have seen the different methods posted using everything from coin purses to foam attached to the gun with holes for the pellets . There are some great ideas you guys have shared .

There was a member on here that had made a pellet loader from gallon jug plastic the started the pellet 90 degrees from how the pellet pen inserts the pellets.

When I find the thread I will link it.  It was a simple and ingenious solution.

It was made from a plastic cutting mat.  I remembered wrong.

The chamber on my TX 200 was too sharp to easily load a pellet.  I took a conical Dremel stone - number 952 I think - and turned it two or three turns by hand to chamfer the edge slightly.  It made all the difference in the world!!  I know i purchased it at Home Depot.

Thank you for the thread link and the idea of the dremel stone . I have considered the stone and slight polish idea since the purchase of the rifle but I like the gun so much I was worried about creating another problem while trying to solve the current problem . The way the breach seal works on this gun it looked pretty safe to deburr the inside of the barrel where the pellet is inserted as long as I don't touch the end of the barrel where the breach seal makes contact .
