Never store any gun pumped up, that has to be cocked before pumping. It'll weaken the hammer spring.
I put a 3-9x32 Kruger scope on mine just to determine what pellets were the most accurate.With the scope, it groups 10 shots into 1 small ragged hole at 18 yards from a bench rest.One of the reasons that I bought the 853 was because of the peep sights.Because it shoots so accurate with the scope, I have not installed the peep sights yet.

Do u store charged and how many have scoped...thanksPS...that 3rd spacer does the trick for us that like longer LOP...
