Sams Club rubber Mulch

If you're a Sams club member, they had 1.25cf bags of rubber mulch on sale for $5.97 at my local club today.

I noticed that Costco also has some, if you have that membership instead of Sams.

This Rubber mulch makes an excellent pellet trap that is quiet.
Make a cardboard box 13" x 13" x 13" and fill it with 1.25 cu ft = 1 bag of rubber mulch.
You can use duct tape for the edges.
You can tape letter size targets on it and use all 6 sides.
When a side gets ragged, tape another 13" x 13" piece of cardboard over it.

My wife thanks you for this information.
She uses around her shrubs.

I got a bag of chunk at BJ's for $8 two weeks ago.

NICE size chunks, should be easy to collect out the lead if you're like me and use it to make boolits

It's all I use for my traps, all you hear is the pellet hit the paper/cardboard box. More important, even with a 6" thick box, at 25yds NONE of my .177 or .22 pellets make it thru, I have a 1/4" plywood backer just in case... My chrony trap is only about 5yds from the muzzle, this box is about 12" thick, same result, NO pass thru.
