All right gentleman if you will accept the vernacular. I came up with an idear and have bounced it off a couple other airgunners already. So I will lay it out here as well. This shoot would be a trail walk style shoot more representative of a hunting situation than FT offers. I have found targets to purchase that will fill the bill and still knock over for lower powered airguns. Let me know what yinz think if you will.
My only restriction would be 120 ft/lbs. Use slugs or pellets at shooters discretion. Targets in all sizes at varying ranges, angles, through various cover. I want it to as closely resemble what you would encounter when walking through the woods of PA while small game hunting. Targets would be various distances apart with no marked lanes to give warning of when a target was available. Just 2 shooters like 2 pals out perusing their favorite small game spot. It will be a team effort of both shooters. A miss is a miss and a target that wasn't seen is a miss. The scoring card won't indicate what the targets are, just the total amount of available targets. Each target will be labeled on the back of what number you just shot and each team must reset their fallen targets. Mark a hit on the score card next to the corresponding number on the back of the target. 2 seperate areas 20 targrts in each area for a total of 40. Half of shooters start in one area while the rest start in the other. Once the first group enters a trail there will be 5 minutes before the next group goes in. No chairs, no sticks. A backpack, attached bi pod and sling are allowed as well as fill source in the pack. Safeties must remain on until engaging a target, magazine is allowed.

As of right now I have no date set, I want to see what kind of interest this sort of shoot would garner. I have some land of my own for plinking and a small gathering and can gain access to land for an event like this. Or if their are any local members who would like to be the host site chime in or pm me.

Chico either or, kind of a run what ya brung for now to get more guys involved. As far as pairing shooters, names get randomly paired. The first time maybe just a loose informal running, let everyone get a feel for it and give feed back. As far as different classes go that will be slit up between springer, pcp is all.
