yeah, I know. It's obvious I have the better taste between me and the wife. She married a bona fide knucklehead!

Well, I'm nothing if not redeemable. Maybe I'll drop Anna @Uramex and confess the error of my ways, and ask her to reconsider informing me of what's available. On the other hand the wife says new is cool too.
How to tell the difference between a refurb and a returned item? One may need repair. The other may just be a return of a good rifle. Why was a repaired rifle not returned to it's owner? Issues with it right out of the box? Probably. So it might be a matter of confidence in Uramex's repair ability.

im glad you canseled the refurb. you will be very happy with the b30 you got. i did own it once(i think i scribed my initals on the action lol) and it shot fine. the reason i got rid of it is that its to darn heavy. it shot smooth and the trigger was great. i do hope you are the last owner

thanks Tom. I hope I'm the last owner too. But if I see initials in there like "tpw x gator", I might have to sell it!

Thanks for sharing your impressions of this rifle. Did I mention that the guy who sold it you you (Chris?) mentioned that it was tuned, and that the trigger was tuned? Of course he could have just meant that it received a lube-tune. I'm still hoping to hear back from him describing what was done to the rifle. Can I assume that you did not put that muzzle brake on it?

Hey snookman that 52 is advertised as only the .177 caliber at that price. I'm holding out for a .22. If the B30 suits me then I'll shift my focus to finding a powerful underlever rifle (unless a 54 comes on sale in .22 for less than $300.00 - which is highly unlikely). I wonder how much the wife really likes me?!!
btw, I think tpw,s rep is on the line for me liking the B30 with all the nice things he's been saying about it.
