Question about the Hatsan Supercharger 25 possible scope stop.

My recently purchased Supercharger 25 has was appears to be a scope stop installed. Its a piece of flat and curved metal held in place by two plillips screws. It sits in front of the rear site and above the word Supercharger. I see no mention of this in the instruction manual, don’t see it shown on the Hatsan website, forums or on the dealer website where I purchased it. I called the dealer where I purchased it and they were not helpful. When was this feature added and is it a scope stop? Thanks.

It's definitely a Hatsan scope stop plate, all my rifles have them. I've never owned the pistol so not a clue when they decided to start adding them on those.

I owned the first gen pistol and its a mule kicker of a pistol. It didn't come with one, these pistols haven't been out on the market long. Its something Hatsan may have started recently with the pistols. If you are going to scope these pistols you will need a one piece scope ring and that stop. It will rattle a scope off the rail. My striker rifle that I just bought a few weeks ago came with one.

Thanks, again everywhere I’ve seen this pistol online the scope stop is not shown and I was just wondering...it threw my red dot off with authority after a few shots but I didn’t use it in conjunction with the scope stop.

I own the SuperTact spring version of this and it didn't come with a scope stop. I've pretty much given up on mounting a scope on it because of the amount of recoil. I just use the open sights.

You are correct it is a factory installed scope stop. I contacted Hatsan usa about it and they said that it is factory installed but they could not explain why some mod 25 had it and some not. go figgure!
