The 8.6 lb weight is one of the main things holding me back.

My Galatian is the same weight but about 7 inches longer than the Bullboss so I'd like to think that with the way it's built, even weighing the same, it should balance better and most owners say it does and that they don't notice it.
Resisting the temptation is easy, bills always come first, but if Field Supply keeps them at that price, the day may come that I'll buy and try one....lol

Actually Harry, it is WAY heavier after you add scope/mounts/etc. !!!! Mine is over 10 lbs!

It shoulders well though, so unless you have to carry it around a lot .....
