My 1970`s Blue Streak. I sold it after I got my drivers license and a .22 rimfire. My thought at the time was I`ll never use it again, I can go where I want and shoot my .22. Took me a few years before I realized I had made a mistake, been sorry ever since. It doesn't keep me up at night but I do wish I had it now. At the same time, if I had kept it I may never have searched out the other air guns I have now and love so much.

I have a nice FWB300S but the side cocking and the horrible mechanical clunk of the shot leaves me wanting some thing more. 

No story from me, but I wouldn't have thought a FWB300S could "clunk" unless it was needing some work. Are you sure you don't want to have someone look into that?

Well, maybe I should have it looked at.  It seems that a few folks are saying that it shouldn’t make a noise.  It’s shooting healthy at around 610 and one hole accuracy but it does “clunk” when it shoots.  It is a mechanical action that generates the power to move the pellet so it has to make some sort of noise.  Maybe my description is throwing people off.  All I know is the the sound that it does make isn’t a beautiful sound.  Ha ha ha! 

Mine make that noice if i shoot up or down, not when i shoot straight forward
