Are Mrod barrels better?

Interested in a .22 synthetic Marauder but was wondering if the barrel issues are fixed? Been debating between Marauder, Gauntlet and a Jkhan Krosa. Since the Gauntlet is taking forever to release and there are no current Jkhan sellers in the US i've been leaning towards the Marauder.
Another question, for Marauder owners who fill with pumps, how is it?
Thanks!

I watch for any Marauder reports and have only heard good reports on the .22's recently.
Filling to the sweet spot at 2900 to 2800 psi is not bad at all especially if you are smart about it and use your body on the down stroke. Filling to 3000 psi requires a bit more effort, but is doable.
I learned to do 1-1/2 up strokes which draws in more air before the down stroke which when doing so requires a lot less down strokes overall and fills the gun much quicker.

I love all my bone stock Marauders. Very accurate at 25-35 yards with sorted pellets (Premiere 14.3g and JSB 18gr).I have no plans on changing the barrels anytime. You can get the wood stock and buy the synthetic stock at Pyramid for $59.00 so you have both. I like to fill mine upto 2600 psi per manual recommendation.

No, emailed them months ago and they said they no longer sell Jkhan. No idea why they haven't removed it off the site tho.

I can't comment on the .22 barrel issues, as I do not have one. As to filling with a hand pump, I find it to be no problem - even from an empty state after maintenance. I tend to keep my tune in sync with a single session on the pump (less than 50 strokes), currently running from about 2700PSI to 2100PSI and about 45 strokes on the Hill to get back up to 2700PSI. Takes a couple of minutes to do.
