Wondering if there is an update here?
What scope did you send in for replacement? Has the strange shooting sound, bronk, go away?
Any further thoughts on Krale?
Thanks,
-Y

Yogi,
The gun is shooting great. It is extremely accurate and not hold sensitive. We're (me and the rifle) are almost to the 4000 shot mark.
As for the noise, it's been gone ever since I installed the tune kit. People kept saying to shoot it for 2000 rounds and it would settle down. But the way I see it, the cost for a kit was only $50 more than the cost of 2000 pellets and I didn't have to endure the noise and vibration. To each his own. But speaking of tunes, I took it back apart a month ago and used Krytox instead of moly and tar. There's still no noise, but the rifle picked up 10 fps with a SD from a low of 2 to a high of 3.7 . Maybe just a coincidence, but I'm leaving it alone for the time being.
As for Krale's, I have a HW35 in the cart waiting for me to have a weak moment and hit the buy button.
If all goes well this turkey season, I want to take a turkey with the rifle. That'd be a hoot for me.
The scope was an older Hawke Sport. They replaced it with a new model without any hassle. I have a Nikon EFR on it now that I like because of the dot reticle.
Here's a 20 shot string to give you an idea of how consistent the rifle is.

Thanks, I enjoyed reading your report.
I am bumping this thread to the top, as I'd like to have one of these rifles one day to go with my HW30.
Next though, I think, is a HW97.
