How are these guns doing out of the box? Are any videos or reviews available?

I'm having a blast with mine so far.  Mine is a .22 and was and is great for small game right out of the box.  I've put a good amount of rounds through it so far and no serious problems whatsoever.  Very smooth sidelever too and fast for a second shot.  The clip works fantastic and not problems there either.  The last squirrel (fox) that I shot with it was 60 yards away through a little brush, I'm really wanting to get back out hunting with it cause  this is another rain day #2 and it's supposed to rain tomorrow too, maybe Thursday I'm hoping.

Not hearing much, if anything about the Bottle verson. In fact, the only thing I did hear, was that the Reg. in the bottle gun was not up to the tube guns quality.

I just did an 11 shot string using the Kodiak Tapered Dome that are supposed to be 21.14 grains.  I weighed each pellet individually to get what I figured would be a more precise result but they don't all read like you'd think they would.

I wish that JSB made a 21 grain pellet, they seem to always shoot more consistant.  The Beemans seem to shoot accurately out of this gun though.

I have a .22 dominator it's very accurate but has been a absolute disater for a regulated rifle.  First off it started shooting down in velocity 835fps down to 680. Tried changing the oem reg things just got worse. Set the oem reg back to original setting still shoots down but from 735fps to 602.
Changed to a huma reg same problem even had the huma to 150b nothing changed. But it accurate and pretty!

I have the .25 cal Dominator and it is very accurate. It was quite consistent as well around 39 Ft lbs with 25.4 gn pellets, but I wanted more power and played with the regulator with no luck as well. I have a Huma reg on the way and hopefully can get it producing properly when it arrives.

The first Huma I purchaced for the Maximus did exactly the same thing. Called Jeff at Trenier,(sp?)the Huma Dealer, and he replaced it no questions ask, and said that there was indeed a Reg. Issue.

Rec'd new reg, and it is a very flat shooter. Was getting valve lock at anything over 1750 with a radical bell curve. Now She shoots from 2600 psi, down to 1600 flat as a Banjo

Thanks for the info Knife, I looked at Trenier but they did not offer the reg for the Dominator so ordered mine from across the pond also.

Yes I did. Figured if there was an issue, better to be with a US Dealer. Turns out to be a good choice for me. Jeff sent the new unit, and told me Not to send back the defective unit until the New One arrived.

The Exaust valve on the M16 wasn't designed like a conventional valve, its incorporated right into the breech.  Most valves have a housing to them (like the M10, Maruader etc.)

Item #3 in this diagram from the exploded view of the M16 is about the only part that could have different sized orafice's that come from the exhaust of the valve coming from the regulator.  My guess would be that their design of the regulator wasn't designed to feed much more than the stock .25 caliber would need for whatever energy is coming from a stock .25 (right around the 40fpe level).  I'm thinking possibly if I order #3 for the .25 for mine it would make a considerable difference in velocity for the .22.  I could also look into making that orafice a bigger diameter, I'm also wondering what size port the barrel has too.

Ultimately though a good regulator with ample adjustment would be really nice, I'm thinking that the Huma or Lane would be a good choice, I'll wait for when you guy's get your reg's and see what kind of results you get and then maybe an aftermarket regulator will be in the cards for my .22.

Wayne52 the exhaust track includes part 3, 25 and the breech. Barrel doesn't have a so called transfer port. I was told 5.5mm TP was the max for .25. #3 port on mine measured 3.90 but it a .22.
