Benjamin 392 and best mods

I bought a new Benjamin 392 I already cleaned out the end of  barrel with acidtone and it seems pretty accurate with open sights. I was wondering which are the best mods. I'm interested in easier pumping and acp.

Google " 2 spring benjamin 392 mod ". That'll help with the pumping effort.
As far as acp, there's only one that I know of, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Last night I did the trigger mods and what a difference.
Today, I went to True Value and bought the spring and washer for the valve mods. Should have it done today. Thanks.    Don

Finished with the double spring mods to the valve. I also drilled out the inlet of the valve to 1/8 in. Also recessed to outlet of the valve to put a o ring in it. I ended up with 627- 628 fps. The pumping was a lot better until you get up to the last 7-8 pumps.

I searched it but couldnt find any specific instructions on how to do the 2 spring mod. If possible could you please post links to the exact springs and washer that you used? Any pictures and or further guidance would be much appreciated!

Don, first off Hi!,

If you found a clear and succinct article on the two spring alteration could you PM the link? or simply describe the web address. I say that because I'm not sure about your authorization to post links, as a newb I know I can't for a bit yet.

When you say you "drilled out the inlet of the valve to 1/8 in." I assume are you talking about the exhaust port on the valve? I think so but clarification for this rather thick skull would be good. If you have the size of the "o"ring you used to seal the port to the interior of the barrel tube I'd appreciate knowing that bit of info? Curious, did you smooth out the interior edges of the valve port as well? Having worked with gas flows in the course of my erstwhile career laminar flows are a good thing to have and areas that create turbulence are not so good. George
