Hello all! My crosman 1077 i bought just under a year ago, and i had a blast with it for about 2 or 3 weeks. i love crosman's lower end stuff and always love seeing what they can come up with. After buying mine for just over $50 and using it for a while in various bits of pest control and paper shooting, just to see how it would do, i retired it to where all the cheap guns go after i have my fun with them; under the bed (sorry 1077, but the good stuff gets to stay on the racks). Anyways, recently i pulled it out from under the bed to have some fun with it and i had the ingenious idea to take it apart for cleaning (dust and such, I suppose). Looked at a parts diagram for it, didnt seem to hard. I opened it up, and made the fatal error of not doing it a bit more carefully, and just like that, parts are all over the table. This isnt my first airgun rodeo, as i take Crosman and Benji guns apart often to clean them, and thought, in my infinite wisdom that this reconstruction would be no obstacle. Long story sort of short, everything is now back to where it belongs, but the shots are considerably weaker than they had been before. Not quite falling out of the barrel, but probably 250 Fps max. Anyone on this forum and its actual infinite knowledge have any pointers as to what i could be doing incorrectly on the reassembly to make the power drop so drastically? any hints or suggestions would be well appreciated!

Wood stocks are my fetish. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. I live in a strange alternate universe where 2100's outshoot Benjamins.
