Help with a gen ll mrod 25

Hello fellow mrod 25 owners. I have a used gen II mrod 25 I picked up a while back. the gun is stock with a ffh installed. Looking to get more fps than 750 ish verified with a chrony using a 25 grain pellet. Checked the valve metering set screw and that was set at 4 turns out. Played with the ffh and didn't do anything to the fps. Need some advice on how I can get at least 850ish or more and shot count.

It takes 5.5 turns out to completely open up the VMS.  It is also very common for the set screw to drive the VMS screw back in when installing.


Assuming you are using a stock hammer spring, replacing it with a 12.5 lb spring will increase valve lift and dwell for more power too.
