Okay - more testing today then - I keep checking that building top today and you won't believe it - the bloody pidgeons are out - but INSTEAD of landing on that building top 48 yards away you know what the little ^(^^%$#^ are doing??? They are perching - for HOURS - on the next building top along - about *70* yards away - its *almost* as if they KNOW... gggggrrrrrrrr The only testing I have done is at 10 yards - and I've used ballistic software to work out the clicks out to 100 yards even - but I just don't know I feel comfortable starting out with a couple of 70 yard shots - there is a bit of crosswind today and the closest window or apartment is at least several yards away - but even so - I'm still feeling 50/50 about this - NOW if they would do the right thing and perch on that building top 48 yards away I might just have my first few kills to report
lol
Um - Uncle Paulie - my lady checks up from time to time to see what I am doing online - I am still having a quiet grin to myself but there ain't NO WAY I am going to say anything about THAT
lol (Remember - women spend a lot of time in the kitchen and are VERY good with knives
lol (and my lady is a local from here with that hot blooded latino thing going - well italian and latino hot blooded thing
lol

focus(fine tune) it until the crosshairs won't change when you move. on the end where it says 5yd to infinity. get gun propped up where you dont have to hold it or touch it. not that its gonna help much. your already getting really good groups but worth a try.
you coming to Gene's? sat or sun?

found this in owners manual after i finally found it
Adjusting Parallax and Focus
• Aim the scope at your target.
• Adjust the fast focus eyepiece until both the crosshair and the target are in sharpest focus.
• Rotate the parallax adjustment ring to the desired distance setting until the target is in the sharpest focus and
the center of the crosshair stays on the target while you examine the image by slightly moving your head.
i wish i was going to gene's its like a 20 hour drive and my wife would be totaly against it

yeah im a ways away in new york in the Adirondack park 1 an a half from albany but i would have loved to go we did a couple vacations in north carolina and thats 12 hours none stop to the northern border and that aint doing the speed limit either, tryed adjusting my parallax but the movement is very minamal so it will be tough i may have to live with it just because i shoot a diferant distances, i had the g1 up and shooting but with a modified piston thats my double duty ag the scope does not have the parallax adjustment so when i get it fixed again i'll set the titan back up for yard shooting and critter control....dave

if im taking an off hand shot at something like hunting for example i only get it close. no time for it. if i set up on the bench to shoot groups and test pellets, i will tune it in perfectly. i went yesterday and we all had a great time. sooooo many coool air guns there. so little time.
everyone is just a helpful and friendly in person too.
wonderful crowd. plenty to shoot at too. if you ever get the chance you should go. its a lot of fun.
