Fidgeted with the trigger spring on a 1300KT. What I did was compressed the stock spring so it no longer engaged. I took a spring from a ball point pen and then put inside the stock spring. The stock spring now acts only as a guide for the inner ballpoint spring. On a scale of 1 to 10, the stock spring was a 10. The new ballpoint pen spring made trigger pull about a 6.
I've shot close to about 100 pellets and no problems. Might try looking for a plastic tube to hold the ball point spring inside the stock spring. Then maybe polish all the contact points.

Great Idea, Also If you want to improve this even better you may want to consider this sear, A-R-C-H-E-R -- AIRGUNS -- 13/22 SUPERSEAR, This darn site woun't allow outside links!!
However they are cut out with a EDM machine And have a some what of rough finish. They Do require you to smooth out the contact surfaces with a fine file diamond file, And then polish real good with your felts and compound with your Dremel tool. This sear is the cheaper one, It's not really 2 stage, But is very nice and smooth, Much better then a reworked crosman sear in my opinion. Their is also one made just like it that is 2 stage with adjustment screws but it Cost much more $30+ and I dont feel is worth the money, The best trigger Hand down is the crosman 1701P trigger, It can be ordered from crosman for around $40
