Last "plinkster" post for a long while...

LEft it alone for a couple of days, then recharged it (one 12gr).

turned on the heater in the shop/shed and set the rifle inside to warm up to 73F (by the thermometer on the wall).

Mag. holds 9 shots, and I've not run a long accuracy test with it mag fed, so the groups were in sets of 9 shots rather than 10.

Takes a few minutes to go doen to the target.. walk back...to fiddle-fill up the little backwards loading mag, so the rifle got a bit of a warm-up break between groups. On a guess, 5-6 min.

From what I can see in this test:

1. The POI didn't shift with a couple of day's time and the swap to mag operation.
2. MAg must be "right" as there isn't any real penalty in accuracy or POI.
3. Looking more like 35 "good" shots per 12gr...which is only about 290 foot pounds per 12gr.

Am pretty much at where I wanted to be with this co2 rifle. Enough power for pest birding, POI staying constant, enough accuracy for at least 40yard shots, no important difference between mag-fed and single shot-fed, and enough shots so I don't feel "gas hoggish".   Likely to leave it along for the immediate future.

Nothing bad...just think it's sorted out to where I wanted it to get to.

Accuracy is spot-on, and for the cost, I think it is hard to compete with this.  Given that my PP700's barrel provides similar results, I'm willing to bet the Plinkster's PCP version is going to produce similar results.  Amidst the other "wants", the PR900/MRodAir Varminter is on the list too.

I have the plinkster .22cal and now the PCP version is on my want list too. Not that I need it...
