Old Crosman needs help

 I have a Crosman model 1300 that I purchased in 1971 and has been sitting on a closet shelf for 40 some years.  It looks like new, probably didn't have more than 200 or 300 shots through it. Problem is, it will not build up any pressure. Real surprise, right? There is a parts diagram in the owners manual but the Crosman website says parts are not available. I have oiled everything that I can access wth pellgun oil. Seems like just some seals need replacing. Is there anyplace out there that would have parts and is it something that I could do myself?

Yes this should be an easy fix that you can do yourself.

once you get the seal kit, come back and let us know before you take the gun apart.
 It should be very straightforward, and is probably very similar to the 1377/1322 reseal jobs.
 providing that is correct,  the only thing to be careful of is that you do not lose the ball and spring for the safety. (they are tiny).

he's the best, I just didn't know if he had the kits as I've only bought for my '79 blue streak and 2nd variant 760. Definitely go with mac1 if you can as you'll get a 2oz bottle of secret sauce included.  One of the  things I like about his kits are the little touches like including washers which most guns aren't missing, but he includes them anyways because he knows you might loose one .

I just wanna add that if you do lose the ball and spring for the safety you can get the spring from a lighter, and you can get the ball bearing from one of those little plastic maze puzzles ( I'm pretty sure you can get them Individually from bins at a party store or party section in Walmart )
It may sound kinda weird but they are the exact size and I don't know what the technical specs of the bearings are, where to else get them, and how much they'd cost .

Thanks to all for the helpful information. Mac 1 it is. I feel like there is a safety net here if I run into difficulties. That pin at the front end that the pump lever pivots on, is it okay to reuse that, or should it be replaced with a new one after it has been punched out.

on my 760 kit the pin that came with it was one for where it links to the piston , and not o e that the pump arm pivots on so I'm not sure if you'll get a pivot pin.
If so I'd use the new one, and if not and the original one keeps coming out I'd make or get a pin with c clips on either end.

Thanks, David. I will try using the original pin. It is a simple roll pin that Crosman calls a front sight pin. It goes through the tube and holds the front sight in place as well as the arm of the pump lever. If I knew how to post photos I would send a pic.

No need, it's the same as the 1377 pistol, except they're a much nicer looking gun with a forearm that looks much more comfortable.

Don't know when it will be in, but ordered the seal kit this morning.
