New to shoebox and have ?

I recently purchased a freedom 8 shoebox compressor on the used market . It is working great and I'm very pleased. It came with a craftsman small pancake compressor, a couple of filters that are plumbed between the two compressors. I had seen multiple post about a air drier on the output of the shoebox. I am wondering if this is necessary because I am filling inside an airconditioned house and when going directly from the shoebox to the gun I have a system that has two 1 meter long microbore whips in between a bleeder block with a gauge. At this bleeder I have not noticed any moisture yet. Do I need a alpha drier or a diablo drier? I also am building a very short hose attached to a 3way block/bleeder that go to a scba attachment for a tank. That I have not used yet so I can not determine if moisture is present.

It depends a lot on your local environment and the humidity level. In West TN it's high. I had 3 dryers on the low side my Shoebox. When I removed the line from the output quick connect, I saw rust.
My suggestion, again depending on the humidity level locally, is to get the high side moisture trap. Compressing air will generate moisture when temperature changes are taking place.

Well I have added two more desicant filled filters still on the input side and I am in the air condition room which is pretty dry . I guess I am going to have to break down and spend another $200 for a diablo .
