I live in Knoxville and have a thing for older airguns, especially springers. If anybody has a similar interest let's chat.

Not really a collector, although I have managed to collect quite a few airguns. Funny how that works. I've had many more airguns in the past that I've since sold, and of course wish I still had, especially the vintage FWB and Anschutz guns. Anyway, I just moved to the Knoxville area (Sweetwater) from SC. I've been shooting airguns for over 50 years, and I think I've seen your posts on various airgun forums for many of those years. Heck, I may have even bought/sold/traded a gun or two with you. Unfortunately, since moving here about a year and a half ago I haven't done anything with my guns. Would love to chat with you, and maybe meet sometime. For now, I 'm just trying to figure out the airgun scene here in east TN. I did meet one fellow at work who went whole hog and had several of the fully decked FX guns, all the charging gear, etc., but I think he's since sold most or all of his airguns.
Respectfully,
Geoff Moist

Hi Geoff, thanks for your note!
I live in Bearden (west side of Knoxville) and know Sweetwater passingly well! I'm a retired architect, did work on the hospital and Wood Nursing Home back in the day, and have some good friends there. I have indeed been a forum rat for years.
I'd love to get together one day! My suburban back yard is not suitable for shooting unfortunately, but good enuff to drink a beer and look at airguns. I have cabin on Douglas Lake, near Dandridge, where one can waste all the pellets you want though.
Thanks again!
