Recently I decided to refinish my Cometa 400. Stripped it with a heat gun and a blunt knife, sanded and hit it with boiled linseed oil. Here it is after four coats:

Many more coats to come, such a nice piece of walnut deserves nothing less!

How do you sand the stipling or remove the finish off of it?

I didn't - I think it looks good as is, and decided to leave it alone.
