So I polished the inside and out side of my compression tube but I been told that I should not have done that, that I needed just to crosshatch it
Can some one show me tell me guide me on how to do this? I polished the inside with 400 then 600 grit sandpaper
So now what should I do?

Check this eezapz2101. Not exactly what your asking for, but should help. Moterhead is a pretty helpful and knowledgeable guy.

When i did it i used a brake cylinder hone. Its 3 stones on a shaft that you hook up to a drill and the cintrifical force of the drill spinning it pushes the stones out against the walls evenly. Only takes a few passes on a medium speed. My drill has high and low speed, low speed trigger pulled all the way and be as even as possible when with time in every spot. Put it all the way to the front of the chamber, pull the trigger on the drill and pull it to the back of the chamber then back to the front and back out then your done. Each pass is maybe 2 seconds each direction. Does not take long at all. Too much and you can change the diameter of your tube. To long in one spot and can make that spot fatter than the rest. Practice on a peice of pipe or a b3 first so you get a feel for it.
Hope this helps. Its been a while since i have done one but i think thats all the little tricks. Its not hard just like i said give a few practice runs on something else first. Worst case scenario you make your b3 better if you have one.

This may be argued, but I have read and been told that if you are using an "O" ring seal, it is best to have a smooth compression tube. If using a parachute seal, cross hatching is the way to go.
"O" ring seals are used in pumps like pressure washers have. The inside of a pressure washer pump where the seal rides is gloss smooth and it holds back some heavy pressure during operation. Air pumps also us "O" rings and they too have smooth sides. Both examples IMO aim at the fact a smooth compression tube wall is the best thing for these guns when "O" rings are used.
Cross hatching with "O" ring seals tends to eat them up.
