Probably so David, I've learned this "Theoben trigger" it's used on many Gamo / Benjamin / Crosman / and MORE!
After a fair bit of email information from Roadworthy I now know there is mods that can be done to the stock trigger. Most of which are not perminent and could be "undone" to restore the trigger to original configuration. That lead to more research and found while a few report the GRT-III is too light, there are overwelmingly more positive reports on than negatives. I sent Cathy (CharlieDaTuna) $33 for the GRT-III yesterday and figure I have 7-10 days to play around. For the future reference of others, I found these videos on cheap mods to the trigger...First, the longer adjustment screw HERENext the R/C roller bearing HERE in this one he also removes the "Lawyer Spring". FYI, there is also a video on youtube done by a kid who has a mouth that would make a Sailor blush, but it's so horrible I wont link it. Suffice to say He uses a lock washer instead of a bearing. For now I am in the middle of refinishing the stock so while I wait for the GRT-III that is being completed. I might get to "The Big City" where there is a Hobby Shop and pick up the M3x10mm screw and bearing, then I'll follow up here with my results on all 3 mods.
