AirForce Texan loves 168gr Nielsen swaged

Nielsen ammo was nice enough to send me some ammo a couple mos ago for testing. I finally got around to it today and I'm pretty happy about the results. This 168 gr bullet shot on avg 941 fps @ 330 fpe...Very good power and speed for big game...My range is limited to 50yds and I got some really good groups. The group pictured was my best of the day. I highly recommend this bullet for Texan owners, it's a winner.

Those are actually 168 grain EPP which is on the site.

In my Texan they do good at 100 yards.  I tried at 200 yards and no so good.  So their range is somewhere between there but I have not found what it is yet.

That bullet is really good in Sam Yang Light Hunter 45 caliber too.  The 50 cal is great in my dragon claw out to 100 yards at least (furthest I have tested it).

Well, I'll be darned. They ARE 168gr. I had them in a bag that said 200 gr. I changed the numbers  on the original post to reflect accuracy in reporting. I apologize for misleading anyone ...this changes the fpe to about 330 fpe. Still more than enough power for big game. BTW, these are sized .457
