Not 1 but 2 Groundhogs...!!

Thanks Dave.  There is plenty of damage to the outside of the shed where they sharpen their teeth on the wood so they don't grow out of control. 

So to your point YES, you cannot have G-hogs without damage.  A couple of them also dug under the foundation at the back of the house.  I shoveled some of the dirt back in after I shot them, but I had to haul away a few hundred pounds of dirt and rocks that came from tunnels under the house.  So yeah my foundation is not 100% and probably the cause of the house continuing to settle and creating new cracks in the ceiling

Two farms over, a groundhog dug next to the foundation and that winter his exposed well plumbing froze costing him a lot of money. Since then, he’s officially  declared war on groundhogs!🤬

I declared war on the G-hogs in '00 when my son was 6.  He was running in the front yard and tripped and fell in a newly dug G-hog burrow.  He sprained his ankle and got a mild concussion from hitting the ground hard.  I was long overdue because I was overrun back then and they were boldly digging burrows everywhere.  My wife changed her mind about shooting after my son's incident.
