Checked all my goodie boxes and could not find a sight to replace this on. And took  a look t mine and see it's broken too. Really poor packaging.
I glued mine back together.
Set up my Chrony an fired a few rounds. Lighting not good so I got no readings. My spare time ran out tonight so I'll dive head first into it Saturday. Will get numbers to start then get it on the operating table. LOL
But, it was shooting pretty hard. And trigger....10 pound plus.
Will take pictures and document this one as I go along.

Received mine today as well.  Please tell me the trigger can be lightened!  Wow it is harsh. Seems like a pretty basic design but this is my first venture into tuning. I guess I will wait to see what the folks here come up with to improve this monstrosity of a trigger.

Mine came in yesterday, too!  Wood stock, slightly beat up.  trigger guard cracked but can be glued.  The plastic container of pellets had come open and were all over the box.

Anyway, I haven't had a chance to shoot mine yet.  Most interesting to me is that there is the german statement "age 18 and over" and a pentagon F marking on my receiver!  That indicates it is a sub 7.5J model!  I have cocked and uncocked it, and it feels like more than that, based on the spring feel.  Will know when I chrony it this weekend.

After pulling the action from the stock, it doesn't look like any other chinese rifle I've seen.  There are similarities, for instance, the two pins that hold the trigger in place look like a B25/Ruger xxxhawk, but that's about it.  Trigger looks more complex than expected. Will be interesting to have her apart.

Put about 25 pellets thru mine yesterday. Very difficult to cock. Broke sound barrier once with one of the pellets that came with it.

Of the three sample pellets that shipped with it, the flat head ones give the best groupings.

Looking forward to following your Tune and learning how to make these things "Mine".

Mine was gluable.
I just dictated and sent a message to SG customer service. Was not so much chewing them for very poor packaging but to ask them to take better care in packing items, especially airguns, in the future. They do have a great CS department and will post their response. I'll keep mine and press on with tinkering. That's what I bought them for anyway.

Got a minute to Chrony mine. Seems pretty good, spitting out 16fpe average. Looking for my trigger gauge to measure before I start. Also, SG got back to me and said sorry for the issues with the airguns but since they are sold out, they gave me a $15 credit. And also printed out my message to give to the packing and shipping manager.
Back to playing in the shop...more coming. Will need to start a thread in the Chinese Gate I guess.

 16 FPE ? Or are we missing a number on the FPS? Also are you going to stay in this thread? Or start another once you tear into her? I'm looking forward to this. It seems it's been years since you did a nice Turkey tune! Certainly interested in your self made trigger. Really looking forward to this! I would have bought 1 or 2, but ...you know... broke, so I'm living threw the computer on these

It shot an average of 955fps with Crosman brown box 7.9gr ammo.
Will be best to start a new thread in the Chinese Turkey Gate on this one. LOL
Will be interesting to me since this is my first time to crack open the Chinese version.
And yep, been WAY too long since I had bench time. Gonna blow the cobwebs out.

Did an initial barrel cleaning with goo gone and it was very dirty.  I've put about 100 or so pellets thru mine so far.  Cleaned the barrel again today -- 1st patch came out black, then the next few came out brown.  Guess maybe it had some rust in there.  After the cleaning, the Crosman Destroyers I was shooting were going supersonic.  Hope it settles back down some.

Pulled the stock off to have a look inside.  Cleaned the trigger assembly and re-lubed it.  Just cleaning and lubing helped make the trigger pull much better.  Going to have to make a spring compressor so I can pull the spring out and clean that as well.

 Daisy customer service is the best in the biz IMHO. Top notch,ready to go the extra mile people. I once had a woman on the phone who to figure something out, ran back and forth to the warehouse, until we found the right part. This took at least 30 minutes. And she was happy to do it.
