My kit is installed, and holding air for the past three days. Fired it twice into a pillow, so I know it fires. Cocking is a chore to full power, but didnt have to use my foot...almost though! Did you get yours installed Tom?

Cocking is a chore to full power, but didnt have to use my foot...almost though! Did you get yours installed Tom? Not yet... I ran into a more pressing issue for me and that was when I opened up my percussion revolver to check it, I found it pretty much rusted closed... so much for Ballistol... anyway... got it apart cleaned it up and then decided to work on a couple things to smooth it up... I did get the air out of my gun so I'm ready to start, got my drill press turned down and trued up my table for when I do start drilling. I'm still confused about the end piece... there is obviously a hole that goes through the screw that plugs into the barrel... are you opening up the area below the screw but leaving the screw hole the same diameter? The cocking force is such that you're thinking about using your foot... Wow.... might have to have the missuse along to cock it for me... I'm going to disassemble this weekend at least and I'm waiting on the spanners from Zach.. whom, by the way if anyone hasn't done business with him, is a pleasure to do business with and he understands airguns. I'd gladly endorse him and Jeremy both to anyone who is thinking or is undecided... you've nothing to fear but fear itself... they two are top shelf!Back to your gun.. I can't wait for you to shoot it and more important.. can't wait for you to kill... you know like that alices restaraunt kid... sayin... i want to hear you sayin... "I wanna kill...I mean KILL, KILL, KILL, jumpin up and down, yellin KILL, KILL, KILL... till them coats come and take you off... Son... yer the one....!" and I expect a nice spotted deer hanging from the that tree in your back yard.. nice marbled nutritious straps and steaks... and one of them grins where I can't see your face... ...Besides my Recluse... I want to go hunting with my percussion pistol... back to you.... Can't wait to hear how it shoots!!!

One thing about lead... it sticks together quite well... makes the penetration thing more assured with an airgun in my opinion too... Fits your tray really nicely too... Aloha... TomYep that is the Lee Minie..from the looks of it, it will be my go to round for pigs. The waiting begins for the Kit! I was surprised how fast mine arrived from South Africa...think it was just over a week.I have something on the way too.......waiting! I used a 320 grain 45 caliber version for the first deer I shot on Lanai with my Volunteer... This went sailing through the deer with 70 grains of powder... My 58 caliber version of this bullet down by the beach in Kahue on Lanai took out a doe lengthwise and a mouflon on the Private side from back to front and blew out its chest leaving at least a 4" hole... just for reference... Almost forgot to ask.... what's coming?
