I tried that with a BSA 2x pistol scope. A pistol scope has too much eye relief and doesn't work well. There are some rifle scopes with more than 3.5" of eye relief, but they are generally expensive and may not be springer rated.A red-dot sight works well on a QB57 because there is no eye relief constraint, and it adds to the tactical look fitting the bullpup design . I cannot shoot my QB57 very accurately anyway, so a red-dot makes sense from that perspective, as well.
