I just Stepped Off The Deep End Without Even Shooting This 25 Cal Pellet Gun !

Bought 3 extra 25 cal cylinders for my Sumatra.........

Also bought 4 tins of H&N Barracuda's too.

Everybody's reports say they shoot great, and I don't like to spend time testing. I will group them at 50 yards, if they group, that's it !

I will launch them in the 850-875fps area, and use the dial to keep the speed around that velocity. Looking for about 20 good shots :- )

My Sumatra Carbine groups well at 50 yards, but with JSB 33.95 grain MKII's. Never tried the H&N pellets in 31 grain, lighter H&N's did not do well at any yardage.

You can easily expect the velocity and shot count you mentioned. The JSB's Are averaging around 880 FPS out of my Carbine. Thats where they shoot best groups for me. I can shoot about 18 good shots at that setting. The JSB 25.4 grain are closer to 1000 FPS on the same settings with 24 shots if I turn them down to 850 to 900 FPS +/- a little and they group very well also. Nothing else I tried did as well as JSB.

Just encase the H&N don't work out here is my test link on some different pellets. You will have to scroll down some to see what I did to accomplish good groups and what settings I used, definitely need to chronograph the gun that,s for sure, as I found out lol

The Baracudas should shoot just fine in your Sumatra. I think you'll be happy with them.
