PCP gun break-in ?

Just curious about something.  I am considering purchasing the new Crosman Maximus in .22 version, once it is made available.  Probably the same platform as the Discovery.  My question is this.....do these PCP's require a break-in period like my sringers/Nitro pistons do ??  I've never owned or fired one, but like the concept of that design. Thanks in advance for your insights !!

If you go nothing to the gun then there will be a "slight" break in period. Basically any "burrs" or "imperfections" on the gun will (should) smooth as you start to use them. The cocking "should" be a little easier, the trigger "should" get a little smoother. The barrel "should" get a bit more accurate. Basically it starts to "wear-in".

When I get any gun (new or used) I usually go thru it and polish and deburr any surfaces I see inside, and polish the bore.
