880 mod questions

  Just getting started on a few mods on my 880

 so far all I have done is the tape mod but now looking to do a few other easy mods to it if I can figure oit how to do them

I keep hearing about removing the flat spring from some part of the trigger assembly??
Does anyone have a pic of the springs location or how to do this mod ??

Also going to try to fill the slot on the piston  front side ??
Anybody have any pics of how this is done ??
Not looking to build a bench rest match winner just like to tinker on my rifles and figure it will be fun to
See if the mods will make a difference

The 880 must be disassembled to remove the flat spring. It is shown on the link below; photo #14. This thread also shows you how to disassemble the 880. Seems intimidating but it really isn't. Just take your time & follow each of the steps outlined in the first page (on the photo's themselves) of the thread.
