Walther Talon pawn shop find

Well I have officially became a member of the pawn shop find club. I purchased this 9.5 out of 10 Walther Talon Magnum .22 cal for the sizable sum of $60 and it shoots perfect with 18.3 g JSB's. Here are the photos I have taken so far.

Excellent find!

That's my gun excepting it's a spring. I love it. Super accurate with JSB 18.13. Thinking about trying H&N 21 grain 5.53 or 5.54mm head size. JSB are suppose to be 5.52mm and some are a bit on loose side. Going to add a few tins of those to next JSB order to try it out.

If you ever think about tuning it get the Maccari lube kit to lather heavy tar on that spring. Suppose to deaden the vibration quite a bit. He sells main seals that fit the piston chamber better too.

I already have the seals, and I already did a lube tune on it, and it is smooth as butter. As you can see I already have the 125 Vortex and 135 springer in 25 cal and the 125 sniper in .177 so this filled out the collection perfectly.
