So my 2014 392PA has a new stablemate in the form of a walnut-stocked 2000 392PA! I've read so much about how much better the earlier ones are that I jumped on this one when I found it for a reasonable price. I figured if it was much better than my 2014, it would be an awesome rifle indeed!
It is in good condition and shoots dimes at 10 yards according to preliminary testing. Same as my 2014. In fact, everything about it (including the quality) is identical to my 2014 except that the wood is walnut where the 2014 is beech or maybe birch.
I'm happy with both of them. This one might get the Steroid treatment. I'm thinking about doing some ACP mods to the 2014.
