You'll want the Trail NP Gas Spring.

thanks for the video, seems simple after you get the parts to hold the piston. just hope I dont do all this and it still ends up shooting horrible.

I wanted a stronger hunter that could be left cocked. The rifle was a good accurate gun when i got it from Jeff. This my first Hatsan made rifle.
I had heard that the NPXL put out 25 FPE so I was surprised when my chrono said 30 FPE. I changed to a ARH seal which was tight and I didn't size and got 28 FPE. I think I will leave it as that is enough for me. I have my gas piston reversed with its body in the piston and around 1/8" preload.
I shaved a little off my trigger so I can adjust the screws more. You could just get longer screws. The trigger is great and can be adjusted to where it is too light. This really helped my accuracy.
The LOP was too long for me so I shortened the stock. The WTM stock in my option is too light your 125 stock is heavier. I want a wooden stock (walnut) even if I have to make one. I'd like to soft bed it. It is a super set up for hunting.

Hi Guys,
Hope I am not too far off topic. I have been away from the forum for several months after moving into a retirement
Community and no more shooting from the deck.
This is not for the guy who has his shooter apart and is looking to get rid of the spring and go to a piston.
I think PA is still doing Nitro Piston conversations for the guy like myself who does not do his own tear downs on break barrels.
I bought a 125 Hatsan Mod about 2 years ago from PA. They included the spring in the shipment when I bought the rifle.
It is the only Break Barrel I still own and it is a pretty accurate and powerful gun for the $229 PA charged. By accurate I mean hitting pill bottles at 50 yards on average of 9 out of 10 tries off a special $20 plastic/rubber rest I picked up off Amazon.
Cant remember the cocking resistance but a little over 50 lbs sounds about right. Shooting .25 19 or 25ish grain pellets and scoped.
PA was still excepting jobs of converting the big Hatsans from spring to gas pistons. They sell the parts as well.
Be Well,
Gator
PS since I dont shoot much any more, I am about to post for sale one of my Hatsan AT44s, long .25 Walnut stock. Less then 600 rounds thru her, includes new extra air cylinder, Hawk scope, air stripper, plastic case and and other trinkets. $1200 worth for $800 shipped free in lower 48. Gun is same as new condition. Log book with FPE specs and saved targets. Battery is dying on my tablet but pm me for pictures and questions if you don't see it advertised yet.
