Got the scope replacement the other day.(post Bushnell 4-12x40 Trophy XLT) I put about 100 rds. Thur it and this
one the cross hairs broke also. This time it was the Horz. one. The replacement for this one will be the third one on
my new RX2 .22 that I have had for less than a month!!!! I am still pi$$ed about it. The people at PA have really been
helpful on it. If it happens again, I don't know what to do?? PA told me that scope is rated for any AG. The recoil for
this gun is HEAVY++++. If anyone has this same gun (RX2 .22), Please tell me what scope you are using, and if it has
held up and for how long. Thanks   glassman98

Well, I guess that doesn't speak so well for PA's rating system, does it?  I'm sure there are scopes out there that can take it.  Leupolds but those are high dollar.  You might also look into something like a Dampa mount.

The gun will be used for hunting/ pest controll. What is a dampa mount???

it a scope mount that is desighned to absorb the shock from you rifle so it doesn't transfer it all to your scope.

No problem.  Dampa mounts use a rubber bushing system. Designed for Theobens.  Not everyone likes them as there is an argument that the material wears a bit over time.  They are not cheap.  Look to pay around $80 if you can find one.

I forgot to mention that there is a GTA mall, and there are guys in there that specialize in this stuff.

And they all have websites showing there products,  you can ask questions and get there perspective.

Alot of ag owners have there ags tuned in an effort to take some of the punch out of them recoil wise, then with the right scope you would be very happy.
