Something I had thought about is there is real no check-in/ newbie area, have some sticky's with forum/new gun owner info/links. Just a thought

Good thought. Guess we need to remind and direct new folks to the Library where the top of the page is airgun terminology and a new to airguns document. The Library is the BEST place for a newbie to start. You know you can assign homework but not all students will do it. They would rather play video games.
