Feild target disco setups?

Hello, its been awhile but i have been given the opportunity to go to baga in Bristol WI in a few week this is my first ever feild target match i dont expect to be awesome but i am competitive and wanna be as prepared as i can. Does anybody have tips and maybe som pictures of discoverys setup for feild target? Thanks guys

Know what your gun is shooting FPS wise. Have your scope ranged properly for that FPS, for proper holdover/under mildot usage.

You'll still do bounds better than I will Jake I still need to see if I can get any of my rifles shooting under 20fpe, as they were all setup for a specific purpose.... the woodchuck wars of 2013-2014

Well i think i am shooting a bit fast yet ill have to stop at jeffs and shoot it over the chrony to verify my suspicions. I think im shooting at 850 with and 18 grain jsb id need to drip her to 700 to get my muzzle energy to 20 ft lbs

Or 14.3's to 800 fps.

.22 cal in FT a few do, but the .177 is King.

Just a recomendation. It being your first event, go with a have fun attitude and not so much competitive one. FT is much harder that people might think. It takes a lot of skill not just in shooting but also ranging and knowing you equipment very well. I'm guessing that you will be shooting hunter class. Practice your ranging very well, put target on you yards at different distances and randomly range them. Once you do that make a mildot chart and practice more. Take a 5 shots to a target then move to a different location. Do it again and again.

Have fun and enjoy the match. Talk to everyone they will help you out and give you pointers.

Yes thanks for the advice like tony said its more to meet people Nd have fun but i dont wanna look like a total fool lol not that anyone would care lol i got a few tims up my sleeve. As for the .22 vs .177 i would shoot .177 if i had a pcp .177 lol but all i have is .22 so that wht i get
