HW50s & Beeman muzzle brake question

I have the brake but no shims. Anyone know what thickness i need to make brake fit?

Is this a real brake, or more of a handle to cover the front sight grooves?  If it is the cover, mine came with 4 different sized inserts to fit the barrel of the R1.

Just mic the barrel and the inside of the break, subtract and divide the amount by 2.  That will get you the thickness needed.

no, it's a genuine Beeman mb. i've just lost or used shims on other guns.
