1AM Mouse Hunt

I thought my first post here would showcase my incredible shooting skill doping a 25mph wind and taking a squirrel between the eyes at 75 yards (in my dreams). Since I don't have the patience to wait to purchase a real gun and do some real hunting, I'm posting a pic of a mouse that woke me up at 1am.

He got his foot caught in a trap I had set in one of my heating vents - what a noise this little guy was making! Well, since I couldn't finish him off in that tiny space with a blunt object I tried grabbing the trap. Bad idea - mice are quick and he darn near bit me.

Apparently all my time on GTA made me remember I had a CO2 pistol tucked away. OK, so a one foot shot at a mouse that is caught in a trap isn't gonna rival the hunting videos on this forum, but you know what? - I was glad I had the perfect tool for the job. The little Gamo helped put a creature out of its misery humanely!  Shot through the neck, severed the spine and exited through the back. He died instantly. Hopefully, this won't be the highlight of my AG hunting experience!

If I'm not laughed off this forum, will I be forever known as "Jack the Mouse Killer" here?

Thanks Smoke Test. But I have a lot of catching up to do, judging by your hunting totals for 2015! Especially since anyone with a code of honor wouldn't try to include a mouse caught in a trap, shot at 12"!! Ha!

Thanks Jr - I'll just ease on out a few feet at a time. By 2018, I should be out close to that 100 yard goal! Won't be shooting at too many mice at that range though!

And it was all done in the comfort of my home. Didn't have to tramp through the desert like SOME people! lol...  Real hunters have their prey come to the house so they can stay in their Jammie's! 

Actually, (now that I've tasted my first kill) I'm jealous and can't wait to do some real hunting like you and others here. After I retire to AZ I might have to drive over and let you take me on a desert hunt - I'll be real quiet!!

Before I dispatched the ferocious mouse, I was tempted to ask him if he felt "lucky" - but it was a pistol, not a revolver!

You guys are awesome with the encouragement. If I ever hunt a real adversary (like a ninja squirrel) will I get a medal and a GTA parade?
