Armada in .22 & .25

On the Crosman site and the Armada w/o optics and bi-pod now comes in .22 and .25.  And runs 649.99 and 669.99.

With optics and bi-pod, and the option of .177, .22, .25---799.99-819.99-799.99---yes the .22 runs 20.00 higher.

I thought it was strange they didn't come out with the Armada in .25 right from the start.

I hope the .25 has the good GM barrel, I would think it would.

I am about to purchase my first pcp and am strongly considering the Armada in .25. Can anyone tell me what kind of max fpe I could expect with mods? Looking for a gun that I can shoot squirrels, sub 30yd head shots on Hogs, and Coyotes.

I am going to buy an American gun and it's between this and an Airforce gun.  What do you guys think? The specs don't give fpe for the .25, or fps.

As far as I know, the Armada is a reworked Marauder, so the specs should be similar to that.

It is a Gen2 Marauder in a tactical stock.  According to Chuck at crossman all of the barrels are tested for accuracy  both before and after they are attached to the Armada.

@tsakula why would you go with Airforce? Have you owned both a Maurader and Airforce gun? What didn't you like about the Marauder? What did you like about the Airforce?

i had marauder but not airforce. it was really heavy and honestly did not like quality too much. stock was moving and making strange noises when moving. it was really accurate in 25 cal but shot count was little too. airforce is much lighter. and LW barrel will be very accurate i am sure. plus air tank is much bigger, 500cc and you will have barrel change option.
