foster fill sticking

Got a cometa lynx about a month ago and the foster fill was sticking and would not open up till about 4000psi I have a hand pump and scuba tank. Even though I only wanted a 2800psi fill because my scuba tank was only at 3200 psi it did not have enough power to open the valve so i have bee. Hand pumping sense i got the rifle. Anyway today i got annoyed enough and decided to take it off the rife and see about greasing it to hopefully  make it not stick closed. Well the screw stripped in the foster fill and I thought i would try and put some grease on the fill side and pump it up till it opens and hopefully some of it would blow through and lube things up. Well little did i know when it opens everything  shoots out of it... yes it was in my yard with deep grass. So anyway at this point im wondering if anyone  here might know where i could get a replacement and what I should have done differently?

New foster check valve is about $10. Call Mac1 or WAR .  You'll have one in a couple days.
Or.......... get a metal detector and start sweeping the grass

To do differently:  Just push the valve (pin) out, the screw slot is there for what reason I don't know.
Remove the Oring on the pin, burnish pin @ head where Oring sits with steel wool, put Oring back on pin, lube with silicon, put pin back in Foster. Done.
