Help selecting scope rings for a TX200 MK3

I would like some recommendations for scope rings for my TX200, please.  I have a Vortex Crossfire scope that I am going to be using on it.  Height of rings, regular or high?  Two caps or single cap.  Thanks in advance.

What is the size of the objective lens -- 40, 44, or 50mm?  If it's 40mm then medium will do.  You can use either a one-piece mount or a two-piece mount.  Make sure the mount comes with a recoil stop retaining pin.  Is the Crossfire an airgun-rated scope?

Depending on your objective lens size, you want the objective end of the scope as close to the barrel as possible.  I have a 56 objective, and use BKL Double Straps.  You won't need a stop pin for a TX.  I have never had any movement.  Expensive, yes, but if they were cheap, they would getting a bad review.

I have a 50mm objective scope on my TX 200 so I went with high rings.  If you have a 40mm or 44mm objective you should be able to get by with medium height rings.  I like the Hawke one piece mounts myself.  They do have a stop screw.  My TX 200 has three stop holes.  I use the furthest back.

I second the Hawke Airmax EV 4X12  40MM.   The reticule on some of the glass etched scopes is very thin.  If the peepers are not fully up to snuff, you can loose the point the cross hairs meet in the target.

I have a Hawke Panorama, glass etched and sometimes find this happening.  Not to a point that it can't be dealt with, but just enough to be slightly annoying.

The reticule is wire in that scope but the TX200 doesn't recoil nearly as much as most others and it is more friendly to a scope like that.

OP, curious if you decided on a set of rings yet?

With a fine rifle like yours, I wouldn't skimp on rings. A nice quality set that look as good as they perform, that rifle deserves the good stuff.
