One if the owners of the company I work for has been taking turns with me and using my pcp shooting pests at work. Hes an ex green beret and served in Vietnam so anything shooting or rifle related gets his blood flowing and puts a smile on his face. One day he says hey I have an old RWS 34 and its not shooting to good so I will bring it in. We looked it over and it needed a new breach o-ring and barrel cleaning. We took care of that and started testing pellets to see what it liked. It liked the H&N Baracuda Match 4.52 the best. It shot a couple others good but these were tops. I am not an experienced springer shooter but I have been shooting my whole life so I can shoot pcp and pb good. That RWS is a sweet shooting rifle and very smooth and quiet. Here are a few pics of the rifle and groups at 20 yds standing using a barrel as support.




So the first target is 4 shots and the second is 5 shots but I pulled that shot off. I am sure if I would not have pulled that shot it would have been right in the rest of the 4. The rifle only has a 4x scope with a thick croshair so I think this group is outstanding especially since I am not a springer shooter to begin with. If he was willing to part with it I would trip over myself trying to get my hands on it😄
