rifle ftlb issue

Hey guys,
Well here is my dilemma..... I am planning on attending my first ft shoot her in a few weeks. Was able to get into contact with the director to mash out some details. After being sure if the rules and what not I figured I should chrono my rifle to make sure things were kosher. Well putting my mk4 on low power I shot three ten round strings across the chrono. Jsb 13.43 were shooting at an average 821.93 ( 20.14 ftlb ), crosman 14.3 an average of 805.5 ( 20.57 ftlb ), and then jsb 18.13 at an average of 755.63 ( 22.84 ftlb). So aside from the jsb 18.13 pellets the crosman and lower jsb pellets are just a squeak over the 20 ftlb limit.
So aside from sending my rifle off to AOA to be just slightly adjusted, which will take a few weeks due to shipping both ways and then servicing the rifle, what other options do I have? The shoot is on the 9th of next month and would enjoy going. But then again I don't want to damage anything, or drive three hours and be told I can't shoot.

Chris
If you were to attend one of our local matches in Ohio with a gun shooting 20.1 FPE, you'd be more than welcome to share the lanes. My first time shooting I used a gun producing 28 FPE at the muzzle. I made that clear to the club members, they just wanted me to try it and that's what I had. Granted those were all beefy targets. From an energy perspective, your 1 fpe extra is not going to kill a target. And because it's a local match and you're not playing for anything other than the days bragging rights, I doubt anyone will care. I assume you're going to MN, I know some of the folks over there, good people and pretty laid back. Just show up and have fun. And heck, maybe someone will let you try out their Steyr or other FT gun for the day.
Good luck and enjoy it!

You are correct Tyler, the mn guys. Have been emailing them for a year or so, thinking it was a bad address on their sight.
I am figuring the slight over power won't be an issue, but I want to make sure. Don't want to put them in a position to say yes when I am.com there after my travel.
Depending on how things go, I really enjoy shooting competitions, so I am thinking I will to shoot more. So I may think about putting the mk4 up for sale and get a more ft focused rifle.
