I think that if you're seeing the pellet spiral as it travels down range at those speeds, some thing else is going on. Particularly if you are seeing all of your pellets behave like this. I would check that the barrel band is not pushing the shroud to one side (make sure it is centered around the shroud) and that the baffles are properly aligned within the shroud. Perhaps the pellet is clipping something on the way out of the barrel. Hopefully it is something simple.I have a Gen 1 Mrod in .177 tuned to launch 10.34gr JSB Heavies at around 845FPS. Deadly accurate at that speed. 13.4gr JSB Monsters on the same tune are running around 825FPS but group exceptionally well. And I just got a shipment of 16.2gr JSB Beasts that I am dying to try... Too dang cold and nasty out.

I found a few Kodiaks so I cranked it up to running about 880fps and I don't see any spiraling. When I get my shippment of Kodiaks in I'll check for accuracy at that speed. Let me know how the beast work out been thinking of trying some out.
